We believe that our community-based value chain approach to assembly and service substantially improves our sales opportunities and builds the Mwezi brand value.

Some of these communities have had negative experience of poor quality products, organisations selling out of the ‘back of van’ and lack of accessible servicing options. Our field research has shown that establishing and maintaining a local community based presence significantly improves the confidence of potential customers when they consider investing in these products.

The Directors of Mwezi Limited have personally conducted research and evaluations on the ground, in the poorer districts of parts of Kenya.  For the past four years we have also been working closely with Jack Ayieko and Teddy Odindo, leading Kenyan environmental consultants.  Jack and Teddy, regional directors of Mwezi, are undertaking our community engagement, site identification, staff recruitment and day to day operations.
